Seeking Advice...aka This Could Have Been A Poll...

I need writing advice for my NaNo novel. Not that I'm expecting a response, but I feel I should ask here.

First off, the novel is about a retired superhero writing a blog. The novel revolves around the blog entries, but also includes scene before after (and occasionally during) the blog entries.

The superhero is part of a team called the Nexxus Five and they have superhero names:

Nexxus Speed
Nexxus Cannon
Nexxus Path
Nexxus Strength
Nexxus Port

Which identify their "super" abilities.

Nexxus Path is a telepath, but in the beginning aka the blog entry focus, she had a lot of issues with her abilities, so they used radios. To add to the confusion, they have "radio names" or nicknames. They used them extensively on mission and when they're training at their headquarters. These are (in the same order as above):

Pocket Rocket (PR)
Tattoo
Wheels
Giggles
Scottie

In the blog, to protect their secret identities, they use fake names. (Again in the same order)

Deke
Damon
Jenna
Gabriel
Justin

Just to make sure you understand:

Nexxus Speed = Pocket Rocket (PR) = Deke ok?

Now in the story we switch between the story's present and the blog entries every chapter. (At the moment...this may change)

In the blog entries, I don't really use the superhero names more than a few times. I use the fake names in descriptive passages and switch between fake and nicknames in conversation as appropriate.

If I haven't lost you yet...we now come to the part where I need help.

In the novel's "present time" I use their nicknames, except for Deke. (And I'm not sure why, probably because I don't want to type out Pocket Rocket or PR every time I refer to him.) Should I...

A: Use the fake names through out the novel to maintain the continuity of the story.

B: Stay with what I'm doing now

C: Create real names to use in the "present time"

D. Change Deke to Pocket Rocket in the "present time"

I had to re-read that a few times before I got it. That's a lot of different names.

I say go with D.
