He's Always Right, I'm Rarely Wrong and We NEVER Agree...
Yesterday, I had to go to Houston for a doctor's appointment and in a moment of fortune got a chance to see someone I haven't seen in seven years. Seeing Basti? Very Cool. Spending time alone with him? Very Challenging.
See, ME + Basti - Other Friends = Nothing Good
Basti is always right. Unless proof is provided that he is wrong. I am rarely wrong, because I don't assert a fact unless I'm fairly certain that it's true. The two of us alone in a bookstore, therefore, means that anything we argue about has to be looked up. Not to gloat, but I've been right more than him. And, I knew the Bulgaria Story which he didn't, so all in all it was a very satisfying evening.
I even got brownie points at work for volunteering to work even though I was off. I wasn't able to help, but I made the effort.
